It is with mixed emotions that we are announcing Monica Cahilly's retirement. With 30+ years in the industry, and since the founding of GMQA in 1992, Monica has most enjoyed collaborating with others on solutions to interesting challenges as our industry has grown and adapted from a number of vantage points. We are indebted to Monica's creative vision and enthusiasm for our collective, transformational journey into exciting new paradigms. Her wisdom will be sorely missed, but we celebrate her accomplishments and deeply deserved venture into her next chapter.
GMQA will be moving into a transition phase in 2022. We extend heartfelt thanks (and bittersweet goodbyes, as of the end of 2021) to our other GMQA employees, Dan Eckstein, Jacqueline Daub, and Randy Bretzin, who have done so much of the heavy-lifting behind the scenes to make our training events and operations possible.
Peter Baker will also be moving on to new adventures and has embarked on the fun of founding his own consulting company: Live Oak Quality Assurance LLC. We have always been very excited about the innovative ideas and youthful energy that Peter has brought to both GMQA and the industry and the future of global health.
